Warranty Policy
At MobileBitz, we stand behind the quality of our products and services. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how warranty claims are assessed.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits or excludes your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 ("CGA") or any other applicable New Zealand law.
Warranty Coverage
MobileBitz products are covered against manufacturing defects and faults that occur under normal intended use.
Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed, MobileBitz may provide one of the following remedies:

Replacement

Refund
The remedy provided will depend on the nature of the fault, product type, availability of replacement stock, and applicable New Zealand consumer law.
Warranty Claim Process
If you believe your product has developed a fault, please contact MobileBitz as soon as possible.
To assist with assessment, we may request:

Photos or videos of the fault

Product inspection

Additional information regarding product use
Products may need to be returned for testing or inspection before a warranty decision is made.
Screen Protectors
Screen protectors are designed to absorb impact and help reduce damage to device screens.
The following are not considered manufacturing defects:

Cracks

Chips
-
Lifting after installation

Impact damage

Pressure damage

Installation-related damage

Accidental damage
Screen protectors damaged through drops, impacts, pressure, or misuse are not eligible for replacement under warranty.
Cases & Accessories
Cases, wallet covers, chargers, cables, mounts, and other accessories are covered for manufacturing defects only.
The following are not considered manufacturing defects:

Normal wear and tear

Cosmetic deterioration

Scratches

Accidental damage

Misuse

Excessive force

Overfilling wallet cases

Stretching or bending caused by improper use
Wallet cases are designed for light everyday card storage. Excessive card storage may affect product performance and lifespan.
Exclusions
Warranty coverage does not apply to:

Impact damage

Water or liquid damage

Misuse or neglect

Unauthorised modifications

Incorrect installation

Normal wear and tear

Damage caused by third-party products

Damage caused by failure to follow product instructions
Consumer Guarantees Act
Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Where a product fails to meet the guarantees provided under New Zealand law, customers may be entitled to repair, replacement, refund, or other remedies depending on the circumstances.
Warranty Decisions
Warranty claims are assessed individually based on the information available, product condition, and applicable consumer law.
MobileBitz reserves the right to inspect products before approving warranty claims.
